"SILENT NIGHTS, LONELY NIGHTS"

For all those days I planned for you, I didn't know if I'd need pink or blue; But that part didn't matter to me, I just knew that soon two would be three! You were due to arrive just before Thanksgiving But little did we know that you wouldn't be living.
In the heat of summer the pain began
One year later I found I was pregnant again,
At this Christmas time of year
But on this 38th Christmas since you've been gone,
I should have many more grandchildren running and screaming
I'm ever so grateful for all God has done
